Welcome to My Supermarket Food Challenge!!
Hello world!!
My name is Amanda, and I am a food lover!! Recently I have been overcome with a deep desire to expand my food palette and broaden my language barriers. And I every time I go to the supermarket I see all these amazing products that I want to try someday but know I will never get to, so I am taking it upon myself to start the challenge of purposefully trying at least two items a week to begin with, until I have tried them all. This will obviously be a continuing challenge as things in the supermarket change all the time. Any items that I don’t need, like pet food, as we have no pets, I will be leaving out, along with shampoos, conditioners and vitamins as I have been recommended things from specialist and don’t want to ruin professional advice, and any that are better suited for my kids or partner, I will be giving to them and will be getting their feedback on those items.
I want to write a short critique on each item I try and will be comparing items to see which is the best for quality and price point. My aim is to try everything at least once. I will always be looking for flavourful recipes to use some of the products in, so if you are reading this and want to share please reach out :-)
I want to make a huge point in saying also that none of what I am writing is a paid promotion for any brand, this is me simply giving my opinion on supermarket food. Some people will agree with what I have to say, some people won’t and that is totally fine.
I will be starting my supermarket food challenge on the 1st of April and weekly updating you on what I have tried. I cannot wait to go in this food journey with you and I look forward to experiencing so many new flavours and finding new favourites along the way.
