Week 1 - Buns and Spinach
Hello,
So I tried 2 new things from the supermarket this week. The 2 items were: 1. High Fibre Low GI 7 Seed and Grain Rolls and 2. Baby Spinach.
The first item I tried was the bun. It was delicious. Usually I am a white bread or normal bread boring kind of girl so this isn't something I would usually buy, but I am so glad I did. It was so soft. The texture was fantastic as the bread was doughy (nice doughy) and the different seeds weren't too overwhelming. It tasted good with both a salad or just some vegemite and cheese. My partner also really enjoyed the change in bread =)
Will I be buying this again?? Definitely!!
The second item I tried was the Baby Spinach. I was quite nice. It had a nice crunch and tasted fresh. I used it in a salad sandwich and it added a great texture. I also used it in my morning smoothies and I added that extra element that my smoothie needed (plus all those extra nutrients).
Would I buy it again? Yes I would. It would also be great in salads along side some protein =)
