Week 3 - Fizzy Drink and Biscuits

Howdy again friends!! Welcome to week 3!! I am thinking that after I finish one round of the supermarket, I may even attempt to do 3 items and see how that goes.... Please let me know if you are enjoying my posts or if I am inspiring you to try new things in your local supermarket. Also, last week I tested coconut oil, if you have any awesome recipes you know that use coconut oil or any of the items that I try out, please let me know and I will gladly give them a go =) Teamwork makes the dream work, so get involved!!!

So this week was a pretty easy week for me, with two of my favourite things in the world, drink and bikkies!! The first item I tried this week was Lemon and Lime Mineral Water. My first impression was nervousness, as I am not huge on Lemon drinks... I can only so Solo or Lemon Ruskis for a certain amount of time before it gets too tangy for me. It amazes me too, just how much lemon flavour you can get in something like this, when there is only 5% juice in them.... I had this with a nice risotto dinner, thinking that I could balance the heaviness of the risotto with a light mineral water and it certainly was refreshing. But I will say that about three quarters of the way into the drink, it started getting a little too tangy for me. That is totally just because lemon drinks just don't do it for me though. It was very flavourful, for that 5% juice in there, and the lime flavour wasn't left out, you could definitely taste it in there.
Will I be buying this again? If I had friends coming over that liked a good lemon drink, yes I probably would. My partner liked them, so it is likely that this beverage will make it back into our household . But if I was buying just for me, then probably not.

The second item was Shapes Originals, Savoury Flavour. First impression was immediate like. I love Shapes and even though this is not a flavour that I would normally get, I still gave it a good crack and loved it. My daughter loved them too. We polished off the whole box in one afternoon, between the two of us. I found that they had a good crunch and didn't leave my mouth with that oily film feeling like some biscuits do. The flavour was not overpowering and as I said it was easy to put away a box very quickly.... I could have probably finished it without my daughters help =/
Will I be buying this again? As I said there are other flavours I would probably buy before this, but I wouldn't say no to buying them again.

What an awesome week of tasting new flavours, tune in again next week for more =) see you then....
